You Will Need:

Step 1:

Print out the pattern and trace on to the centre of your fabric with a fabric marker; if you have trouble seeing it,you can use a light tablet. Practice the back stitch as shown on the template sheet.

Step 2:

Place the fabric into an embroidery hoop.

Start at the bottom of the hands and, with a black thread, trace all of the pattern marks with the back stitch.

Remove the fabric from the hoop and iron out any pattern marks.

Before placing it back in to the hoop, draw around your hoop on to some felt, and cut out. Now put your piece back in to the hoop and ensure that it is taught.

Trim off the over-hanging fabric so that there is enough to stick this to the inner hoop. Use a glue gun to adhere to the inner hoop and then adhere the felt backing to the back of the hoop to hide the back of the stitches.

Step 7:

Cut a strip of felt approximately 2” x 1”. Apply some glue at each end and place on the back at the top of the hoop.

This will act as a hook for hanging.
